Graph-native gene research with live hypothesis visualization and reasoning
About This Project
Cascade is a graph-native research assistant for gene exploration and drug discovery. Starting from a seed gene, it builds an interactive relationship graph where users can expand neighborhoods, inspect interactions, and run what-if perturbation analyses.
Behind the interface is a system of specialized agents: retrieval agents gather structured biological data, search agents pull in fresh literature from sources like Europe PMC and bioRxiv, and reasoning agents synthesize evidence into testable hypotheses—while keeping citations and conclusions clearly separated.
Together, these agents turn static research into a live, navigable graph, helping users identify targets, trace pathways, and uncover novel therapeutic opportunities faster.
