Before You Rally: Visa Pathways for Immigrant Founders
About this event
Building a company is only part of the journey. As an immigrant founder, you’re also building the professional story behind it.
Join AI Valley and MeritMap for a virtual session introducing our new 6-month Founder Readiness Cohort, designed for founders who want to intentionally strengthen and document their professional profiles while exploring pathways such as O-1A and EB-1A.
◇ What You'll Learn
We'll cover:
- How O-1A and EB-1A pathways work at a high level
- How to identify potential gaps in your professional profile
- What achievements and evidence you can begin documenting now
- The difference between profile development and legal filing
- How our 6-month Founder Readiness Cohort works
- What to expect from the community throughout the program
❖ More Than a Webinar
This webinar is the first step in a 6-month journey with a cohort of immigrant founders working toward similar goals.
The program combines:
- Monthly profile-development deep dives with MeritMap
- Biweekly community gatherings and pickleball
- Practical guidance for strengthening and documenting your professional profile
- Ongoing support and accountability
- Access to qualified legal evaluation when appropriate
Our first in-person gathering kicks off with Rally for Your Next Chapter, a founder pickleball mixer on October 8.
◈ Who Should Attend?
This is for immigrant founders and entrepreneurs who are:
- Building a company while navigating their immigration journey
- Exploring O-1A or EB-1A as a potential future pathway
- Unsure where the gaps in their professional profile may be
- Looking to prepare intentionally rather than waiting until they're ready to file
- Interested in going through the process alongside other founders
